JCW exhaust issue...

Does anyone with the JCW exhaust have a rattle or knock/tapping when down shifting?

that would be the ghosts of Lucas trapped in the resonator

I'll have to turn off the radio and listen, but I haven't noticed anything that's been irritating yet.

Do you mean the popping noise... because that is what it's suppose to do when engine braking.

You wouldn't happen to have a short shifter installed would you? I added my B&M SS and with it's dust cover installed the JCW resonator was pressing against the heat shield and dust cover. It cause a LOT of resonance in the cockpit and a "knock" sound when the drive train flexed on acceleration and decceleration/down shifting. I had the resonator removed and no more knocking or resonance in the cockpit. The MCS burble, and the popping on decceleration is more pronounced with the JCW exhaust than stock also.
