when i unlock my doors on my mini, they operate as normal, but as the passenger side unlocks, it makes a squeal or squeak. i read many threads on locks breaking and i was wondering if this was a sign? might bring it to the dealer.

 

does the squeak seem to be the rubber against glass or is it more mechanical...like inside the door? See if you can pinpoint the source before calling the dealer. Hope it's nothing serious.
