But I am absolutely obsessed with Black MCS, really, to the point that I might jump and buy one

It looks incredibly classy to me, elegant as well, plus it's one of my favorite colo.. er.. hues.. (For all you artsy folks )

I digress, the reason for this post is I am in the market for an MCS, and while I do love to death my lil Pepper White Coopah, I'd really like to know what you guys think are the top 3 best color combos.

My favs are:
1. JB/B or W
2. PW/B
3. CR/B or W

So what do you guys think?

My top color combos are

1. BRG/W
2. LY/B
3. BRG/B

 

I'm partial to CR, but without the top. I think the BRG/B is very classy while the LY/B is rather fun. I think if I were get a tin top I would have to look at an JB/B since it is rather sinister.

 

I think pretty much anycolor combo with a contrasting roof is game for a MINI, no offense to anyone with roofs the same color as the body
And if you get the white roof, gotta go with the white wheels, although theyre a pain to keep clean

 

I agree, contrasting roofs = Bliss

I saw a PW/PW MCS today, meh, it looked alright, but nothing like my PW/B

Just makes it more.. MINI with a contrasting top.. John Cooper did it to be different, therefore we should all do it!

JB/JB and CR/CR are my faves.

 

Hmmm...I am pretty sure you can't go wrong with Jet Black/Jet Black .

 

Y'know this seems like such a simple request but right away it became clear that there was no way I could come up with only three. Seems odd (even to me) but we are talking MINIs here.

I admire the JB MINIs too, but I know that I'd go nuts keeping it clean! I like to look at them though for sure.

Tough question, when I see a row of assorted Minis I think of Life Savers candies...

Favorites:
Red or BRG with white roof (classic)
Space Blue with silver roof (checkmate)
and that khaki brown with a matching roof and 17" web-spokes (class)

... and I have an Astro Black/silver!

Being terrible in keeping a car, yes even a MINI, clean our favorite BRG/W was out because it is too dark.

Yes, a MINI should have a contrasting top. Classic

ALL monochrome is very cool aesthetically, but not as classic.

Thank you all for posting! I know it's a real difficult choice to only pick three colors you enjoy, especially since we're talking about the world's most unique car here.

I have also began to have a love affair with JB/W's

Too bad there aren't many JB/B's around here, I've only been able to find three! (I guess they're a hot commodity)

Silver seems to be the most common color sold, that and hyper blue. Hmm...

Darn, the only ones I can find that are atleast suitable are IB/B and BRG/B

And I'm searching the entire Tri-State area!! Oh well, IB/B it may have to be.. atleast it has the aero kit!
