Bonnet Stripes

Well,

When I ordered my Mini, I got the things that I decided had to come on the rig - or I wouldn't be able to get 'em later: Like the Leatherette, LSD and a Sunroof...

but I didn't get the bonnet stripes, as I was undecided - and figured I could get 'em later - albeit it would cost me more.

I've only had the car about a month: and it just seems like I've left part of a "MINI" ... off my MINI.

so, I'm going to have to get Bonnet Stripes. Probably just the stock Bonnets ( Black w/ White ) on my PS/B.

There isn't a 'Better'. It's like a haircut. To each their own.

The colors/stripes of MINI's are all great!
I like ALL the colors, and I like bonnets, no bonnets, roof graphics, no graphics. etc.

but for me: I have to get the bonnet stripes!

Stripes are easy enough to install, so yeah, adding them after the fact is quite doable.

Remember that there are BOOT STRIPES as well.

Got my last set of bonnet stripes from http://www.mossmini.com/Shop/ViewPro...eIndexID=52539
My wife and I installed them in about 10 minutes...there's nothing to it and your bonnet stripes will cost a lot less than factory or dealer installed ones.

Not to mention, BOOT Stripes !! After all, you're the one who convinced me to put them on.

I think bonnet stripes without boot stripes is like wearing a shirt without pants. Kinda embarrassing.

I agree! It's so easy to do yourself, it took me maybe an hour total to do both my bonnet and boot stripes.

Make sure you don't get the black stripes from the dealer, the ink will come off of the stripe when you wax it.

Yikes! Dealer Black Bonnets have an ink problem?

What make do you recommend ? I think I want the stock style:
Black, with the white border pinstripe.

I recommend Aesthetic Creations. They did mine and they're awesome and the installation was a snap.

I just waxed my black boot stripes yesterday and I had no problem. With that said, I am liking the Shelby Stripes From Aesthetic Creations

I agree (although would add that this is only a good metaphor when comparing to men wearing a shirt but no pants...women often pull this look off nicely!). Regardless, go for the bonnet and boot stripes, IMHO!

I had a fellow Mini owner friend put my white with black pinstripes on my LY Mini for me. They really complete the look of the Mini.

i recommend checking out the non-dealer stripes too. check out the
vendor list page. some of them are very cool.

although for my car, it just went with a very basic black.
i personally like the blended look.
