Borla Cat-Back Exhaust on 2006 MC (Non-S)

Borla lists the system for the 2002-04 Mini Cooper base model (Part #140030), but not for the 2005-06. Anyone have the Borla Cat-Back on a 2006 MC? Did it require any modification? (I've searched but could not find an answer. )

I would like to know is it worth it to go with the borla exaust now, or stay with the stock exhaust untill it rots out,or burns out and then putting the borla exhaust on

Waiting for rot out...

I don't know if the Borla fits the 2006 but I can tell you if you are going to wait for rot out you'll likely have a very long wait. My 1998 Chrysler still have the stock exhaust and the peice on the Mini is very heavy duty I would expect it to last as least as long.

Yes, if you're thinking about replacing the stock system do it. I've had my 2003 Cooper 4 years and the stock system is no where near end-of-life.

I have the Rspeed cat-back on my '05. The Rspeed was also for 2002-2004, and all I had to do was bend one hanger by hand about 1/2".
