H2O/Methanol mister? Anyone done it?
I have done this 50/50 mix on my E55 supercharged benz and I gained 40whp. I'm spraying before the blower and after with a spay proggresion. Have others done this on their Mini to cool down intake temps. My Benz temps dropped my 60F. Also I wanted to lean my Mini software out since Methanol will raise my octane and lower my air/fuel ratio. I would like the spray to come on at 14psi and above. Also I noticed Alta makes a kit for $750.

I should have about 220whp now and I wonder what I would get out of the Meth/h2o mix. Any idea?

I did my own setup uing components form coolingmist.com. I am using a relatively low volume injector with a 150psi pump and boost juice from snow performance. I haven't had it tuned yet, but I will when I get home.

Not sure what "boost juice" is...but I've used windshield washer fluid with great results...not in a mini though- supercharged 350 chevy. The price is right and lowered my intake temps up to 100 degrees.
Boost Juice is Snow Performance 51% water/49% methanol mix for injection. It is easy to use, runs about $24 for 4 gal from Summit.
