Drivetrain Wiring Help w/ Intercooler Mister
Wiring Help w/ Intercooler Mister
Ok, here is my idea: I have a mister hooked up on my intercooler using my rear wiper line. I plan to remove my rear wiper altogther.
As it sits, if i have momentary spray, and my wiper goes nuts. or i can set it so my rear wiper goes by every now and again.
Is there a way to just switch the wires? Can i get it so that when i put the rear wiper stalking in wipe mode my mister will periodicly mist on its own?

ever think of installing a boost pressure switch so when you hit a certain PSI your sprayer will spray? this will elimate constant spraying while allowing you to keep your rear wiper function intact. we all know how much negative air pressure is behind a mini when driving ( gets dirty faster than other parts ) and if you can keep the back window clear its a plus for safety.
you can also take it a step further and install a separate resoivor just for intercooler spraying to you dont have dried blue liquid all over the engine compartment.

sprayers are most effective at low speed. there is a great 5 part article on autospeed when they are making their intelligent intercooler mister about the best times to spray. they pretty much say you would want to opposite of a high boost pressure switch.
i just run water anyway, so the blue fluid isnt too much of a concern.
