So I took Rocinante out for her daily 100 miles anyway. I was a bit worried about front wheel drive (and torque steer) in the rain. Boy was I wrong! This girl just bit into the road and kept it straight and true! Another hundred down, 850 to go. I just keep falling in love all over again.

Are all the New Beetle Drivers a**holes? The one I had behind me was. Seemed to think that 70 mph in the rain was more than reasonable. Seemed to think that she was bigger than me. So I just ran a reasonable 45 and watched her get angry. Used to be that the New Beetles were the MINIS. Must be jealousy.

Rocinante is happy and munching hay in the carport. I am waiting for sun tomorrow. Another hundred then.....
