I haven't needed a shop but you could try going to cooperspeed.com . Most of the people there are from Texas and quite a bit from Houston. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I've noticed that no one is waving lately too! The original owners of the 02-05 MINIs still wave, but the people who are buying the used ones or brand new ones, aren't. Just my observation. I don't think the dealers are informing new owners of MINI etiquitte.

What side of town are you on? I wave! Also, check this out:

EDIT: BHS is closed on Sundays and Mondays, btw.

If you are ever in the bay area I will be waving back at you in my 06 MINI. (Not quite a wave but close enough)

Come anywhere near me and I'll probably spot you and wave! I try to wave at all MINIs, and occasionally other sporty cars. I suppose it is presumptuous for a MINI to wave at a Ferrari, but I've done that too. Couldn't help it after pursuing him in traffic. You may get a strange look back! Check out HMMS.org... and then over to Metroplex Mini where we post. HMMS has a great bunch of Miniacs with lots of well attended activities!

I try to wave when I can, it just seems that the other car can't see me wave due to the tint or something, or it happens at a time when there's crazy people on the road and I'm really concentrating on the traffic or I'm on the phone (i know baaadddd!)... I feel bad when I spot the wave then try to wave back and they are already gone, lol...
