Sneak Peek! My JCW!

UPDATE: Hey guys, I just posted several photos from Buttonwillow.
Vist the Gallery Here

The official birthday is August 29: the same day as my daughter's birthday. I haven't finalized the interior, but I couldn't wait to share. These are the first pictures of my JCW and it was the first time both raced.

I am posting several images taken on October 30 Buttonwillow Phil Wicks Driving School. This is just a sneak peek, more driving session and gallery professional photos are coming.

Ah-HA! Graphic Designer. That explains it.

Beautiful planning and execution on the mods. Two thumbs up for a consistent design theme and harmonious color palette throughout. You've done a great job on creating a complete custom approach on your MINI. So often, modified cars look inconsistent because of the use of different aftermarket parts. Yours looks like it could be a factory-prepared high-end special.

Great job!

John

I was there that day, and I can testament to the fact that car-driver pair, is FAST, and it's only stock JCW and no one here will ever believe it was his first time on a track, or racing of any sort, Yegor is QUICK, and so is his MINI.

Wait till you guys see the rest of the car....

Any chance of you coming down to San Diego for the Nov 4th Auto-Cross?

Very nice.

The painted arches get lost on the DS compared to other colors, but it allows the red accents to shine through. Very subtle... very clean.

I'd love to see some more interior shots! I'm hoping for a red pinstripe or accent on the dash!

Yes, there are red accents on the dash too.

I am designing completely new aluminum rings for instruments, speaker surroundings, etc. I ordered a sample via water-jet technology, but it didn't work: too rough and too much finishing work. I believe I have 2 choices; machine shop or CNC. I know it's going to be an expensive project, but I am going to do it.

So I haven't complete the interior the way I planned initially and that's why I don't have photos yet.

I've got a taste for some old-school, hand-painted pinstripes on the dash. With my black and tan interior, I'm thinking a 3-tone approach with black, tan and Pepper White.... one of these days...

Greg you said you were taking it all the way and you did. What a beautiful car. And now driving school. I hope you will wait up for me next time we go for a drive. I am thinking about duct taping my radar detector to the windscreen. Well I am jealous and proud that is the nicest Mini I have ever laid my eyes on. Can't wait to see in my rear view mirror. hahahaha Just kidding. More pictures please.

Prepare a room for winter vacation, then you'll see it in your rear doorway!
