Navigation & Audio HK numerical/text display erratic

My MCS is only one day old and the HK seems to have a problem with the numeric/text display and it appears to be ambient temperature related. When it is relatively cool the third digit on the AM frequency does not display all of the number. It is in the same location for FM and text. When the temp warms up all is well. Any ideas?
