Squeak city?

After I ordered my MCSa last week I’ve become a serious NAM addict. I’m concerned by reading lots of posts saying that Coopers are prone to squeaks and rattles over time. What’s your experience with the cars? Will I be visiting squeak city whether I want to go or not?

Have you ever driven an older car that doesn't have squeeks/rattles? I can't remember a single car I've ever owned that didn't have it's own signature sound. That's what radios are for! I'm not saying bumps and rattles are ok in a brand new car, but I think rattles in a car are to be expected.

The way our road system is??? Yeah, you'll be getting some rattles and squeaks. I drive in 1st gear on my .07 of a mile of gravel road and my once tight MIni is now displaying noises that I'd rather she not have. It just happens unfortunately.
