Anyone from MC2 Magazine read/post in here? Mail is bouncing!

I've been trying to email the editor at MC2 Magazine (editor@mc2magazine.com) and the mails are just bouncing back with some sort of "too long in queue" error. The address looks right. Just wondering if any one from there reads in here. Thanks!

I also had trouble e-mailing both the editor and publisher so I contacted them through their contact page on their web-site. They gave me the following address to use as their published one was not working: editorgary@aol.com

Ahh.. Look and ye shall find...

From the mc2magazine.com website:
"MC2 issue #5 was mailed to all subscribers October 25.
It will be mailed to all subscribers in the data base as of October 8. Mail delivery takes about two weeks to reach most readers but some subscribers could take 3-4 weeks from the mailing date to have their copy in hand. It's all up to your mailman."

I would start looking for it soon. Strange how I didn't see this until this morning on thier site

But ya think they would send us the last issue. I havent seen the mag on a shelf here in Hawaii and I'm not gonna pay extra for a back issue.

I just saw a copy of the latest

a few days ago. Looks good! But before you ask, no, it wasn't my subscription. It was one that Gary gets shipped to him on printing....

Matt

ps, while it seems like the last issue would be easy to ship out to new subscribers, it's not really. So the date of your subscription is the date of the subscription, and you get the issues that come out after that date.

Most magazines will not send the current issue to a new subscriber. It is seen as a cheap way to use an existing copy to make the subscriber have to renew sooner.

Also...

the first shippments go from the printer to the senders.... If it doesn't go out then, it goes to someone else who handles the back issue storage and distribution.... While it seems messy, it works well that way. The printer doesn't have to have extras lying around. And someone who gets a slice of the back issue price uses that to pay for storage and handling.....

Picked up a copy of the new issue (featuring MTTS coverage) at the SoCal MINI Day Charity event last Sunday. Yet another excellent issue!

I especially enjoyed the 10 great roads feature (and not only because my MCSc "Murray" is in one of the pics ) Keep up the good work, guys!

I paid for a year subscription before the first one was ever mailed out, and i had trouble getting the first one, and eventually got the second, but i just got an email about a 6th installment due after xmas, and i haven't received anything since that second issue!

I know i don't have a mini, but i still want the magazines i paid for! I haven't even been able to wear the shirt i got for subscribing because i was unable to meet the deadline to send back the shirt... but everyone on the board, including the magazine head hanchos, knew i'd barely fit a small, much less a large :(

I haven't seen issue 5 here in Hawaii yet either - BUT I did see your MCS today at MoH! It looks sharp! (Your's does have a silver roof doesn't it?)

I think that is the first hyper blue/silver I've seen.

Issue 5 arrived a couple of days ago here... along with an insert notice that says:

"Charter Subscribers... It's Time To Renew!"

However, since I bought a 2-year subscription from the get-go, I'm a little confused as to why my copy had the insert.
