Service: Bill Jacobs MINI

Well The new job has moved me from Indy to Elkheart, IN. MIB is now reading -100miles to oil service. Anyone have experience with Bill Jacobs MINI?

Thanks in advance!

I found my Mini there and have only been there for the 1st 10K service, almost ready for the next one. I have always found them easy to work with and have no reason to look at other dealers. Book your appt weeks out for the best "while you wait" service.

With three dealers competeing in Chicago we generally get extremely good service because the dealers are competing for our business. That said I've found no reason to go anywhere but Knauz and would drive 1000 miles to have them work on my car instead of other dealers around the nation. However there is no doubt in my mind that Bill Jacobs would be offering any less because of our unique situation.

Are you coming up to the MINI advert rally in a few weeks?

I went to Bill Jacobs because I thought it would be closer for me. With traffic, construction, and tolls (:impatient ) it is about the same time to Bill Jacobs as it would be driving down to Indy. I've had my MCS in for two of it's scheduled services and for what they have done, I have no complants. I haven't had any other problems to take it in with to really test them otherwise.

I would have to say if your really happy with the dealer in Indianapolis keep going there. If your looking for something different try Bill Jacobs and see what you think.

Have you looked into Patrick Mini in Naperville, it might be closer to you..I ordered my mini from them last month, I haven't had any service or anything done but I haven't had a single issue

I would have taken MIB home to D&R but they don't have Staturday service hours. My Job is an independant contractor... So I don't work I don't get paid! Irionically my boss wants me to take MIB back home to D&R so he doesn't have to pay me!

Untill we get out of the lease in Indy and get into a place in Elkhart/Goshen, I doubt we will be able to do any club type events. Heck Gas is eating me alive! Even with a MC, I am still filling up 3x a week. 140 miles round trip a day. I do miss the good folks from MINICCI. NO BODY waves here. Heck it was a party anytime you saw another MINI in Indy! There is a neet club in the South Bend Area, Michiana Brits. All Brit makes. 1 other MINI and a Classic Mini.

I have also seen AutoX on Saturdays at the Tire Rack warehouse just off the I80/I90 toll road.

No, not many people wave up here. I see a few Coopers on the toll road going towards Chicago on my way to and from work. No one even looks to check out the other MINI .

My Father-in-law lives in Elkhart so maybe I'll run across you some time, I'll be sure to wave .

Well the experience at Bill Jacobs MINI was good. They got 5's for the service. But it is a toss up between the free dough nuts and pepsis at D&R in Indy or Saturday Service and only water at Bill Jacobs.

NONE of the other MINIs in SB area know to wave or even honk at other MINIs

Heck in Indy it is a small party when you see another MINI.

I bought my used mini at Bill in Naperville and they were very nice to work with. I probably won't be going back there due to the distance of driving compared to some of the closer places but they were very nice to work with for buying.
