First Pics of the R56 Press Preview

But I can't get to the site. Is it down? I'm anxious to see what pics there are of this press review!

No these are not official pics of the final car. It's just photos of the press preview that was held this past week in Europe. BMW invited some members of the press to drive a camouflaged prototype of the 2007 MINI. The prototype is no ness camouflaged than other photos we've seen in the past 2-3 months. In other words there's nothing too exciting to see... yet.

However there will be some key details revealed over the next week on MF.

Personally, I find myself a proud owner of a FUNCTIONAL hood scoop. (not that my rear diffusers are actually real...)

I think the car looks great. Judging by the videos on Motoringfile, the car will have awesome handling,too. I saw no understeer as they went through the cones, looks like an auto-x winner. The car definitely could use some lowering but I'm not disappointed with the styling. I hope buyers of the next generation MINI will be welcome on this forum.
