We had an autocross event here in Greenville, NC yesterday. Since the Pearl desperately needs new rubber I had to sit on the sidelines and take pictures. The truth be told I thoroughly enjoyed watching the event and it did my heart good to see 8 MINIs participating

Actually that's MINItiger's car, who ended up being 1/10 of a sec. faster than me... I'll blame it on the new, wide sticky's he had.
Our Class, SM, is really tight with the difference intimes for the first 3 slots being in the hundreths of secs.

His son did great his first time out and had alot of fun.
I'll keep everyone posted when future events happen, so you all can come out and play.

...if you worry about that sort of thing. Some people enjoy shining their cars up to sit at a car show and others enjoy driving the heck of them. There is nothing wrong with how one chooses to enjoy his MINI, I just happen to be one of the latter.
