Both drivers actually waved at me as they drove by. I guess they noticed the look of amazement on my face.

There were five around here this last weekend. Both the Coopers and the S's. I got to talk with one of the guys doing some of the testing (from Germany). They were running around pulling a 1200 to 1500 pound Uhaul trailer up and down the mtns between here and Death Valley trying to get them to overheat. The guy I was talking to was incharge of the cooling system. Said they were also testing out a new 6spd automatic tras., (also pulling)

I didn't get any pictures, or get a good look up close, because they were generaly covered when parked. They still don't (body wise) look quite finished yet. But these guys were testing motors and trannys anyway. The S still has the dual tipped exhaustm but looked alittle further spaced. Don't know if thats the final design yet though.

Standard coopers out this fall, S's out beginning of year. (might have been talking about the new trany, I'm not to sure, some language barriers.
