Updated my bonnet stripes
Ok, I finally got the time and the nerve and updated my bonnet stripes. I just did a 1/4" pinstripe on either side of the OEM stripes. They're not perfect, but it'll do. I'm getting braver as time goes on, who knows what I'll try next!
I'm thinking a UJ roof graphic, but in green,black and white ala Paul Smith.
This car is so fun!
Sorry for the night pics, I'll take better pics tomorrow in the daylight.

The stripes look really nice. Um, I didn't even know that I MAKE roof graphics.
Regards,
UJ

I REALLY like it Annette!
I've been toying with a few ideas for new stripes and these are great.

UJ = Union Jack!
And, by the way, mine (sunroof flag) is rusting!

My sunroof flag is a silver metallic Union Jack...and apparently, the metal flakes in it aren't aluminum....
but something that can rust!

That really looks great on the PW - like it was meant to look like that. I wonder how that would look on my HB...?

Those look great!! How exactly did you do them? I'd be too afraid of screwing it up.

Thanks everyone, my husband even likes 'em!
I just bought a roll of 1/4" pinstripe at Advanced Auto Parts and started striping. The ones on the driver's side are a bit wobbly in places because I had to do them left-handed, but I get better as I went along. I think I'll just be able to peel them off if I want to try something else.
Try it on the HB, it's not permanent!
