I saw a thread a few months ago, but searched and cant find it. Help? Website to buy?

If you have the convienence package with the garage door opener on the rear view mirror, the cover won't work.

I was all ready to get one myself, until I found that out.

 

I have the convenience package and have the checkerboard cover. There's a thread on here somewhere showing how to modify the cover (with a dremel).
I got mine and slipped on the mirror to see if I liked it (I do) and have left it on there without doing the mod or taping it down. I found I can just press the garage door opener through the plastic, or just push it back if I need to. One day, I'll probably do the customization to it, but for now it's fine.

I reaaaaally want one, but I have Sept 03 mini, and they only fit from july 04 onwards.. anyone know where I can get one for my 03 mini?

to bad they only have the union jack for the 04 and down. BOO, i want Checkers.

I will sell you the one I bought for my June 04 that won't work. $35 plus shipping brand new with the box and instructions.

 

I was not aware that they changed the mirrors. Must be subtle change, I did not notice it.......

The newer mirror is bigger probably by an inch each way top to bottom and side to side.

 

And I thought they just changed the interior mirror!

They did change the interior mirror or the rear view mirror.

 

I know, but can't figure out why. My 03 MCS mirror captures the entire back window.
