Way to go GM.. Lemans

The corvette placed first once again at Lemans in the GT1 class... In with the likes of Aston Martin DBR9, Fords Saleen SR7 the vettes rule again placing 1st and 7th. I beleive this is the 4th consecutive win for the C6R at Lemans...

Third consecutive win at LeMans (Ferrari in 03?) You know, I'm not a Chevy guy but the more I learn about the street car and the race team, the more I like the 'Vette. Props to that team, they never stop trying. A quality effort and GM should be shouting this story from the hilltops (but they won't). Sad really.

I agree. They need to capitalize on this success much like Audi has been doing (this time with a TDI!!). A class win at Lemans in the GT1 catagory is no small achievement and GM should be proud.

It seems Chevy has the Corvettes down to a science. I like the looks of the new ones a lot.

The Pratt & Miller team is just down the road from me and they are a class act all the way. They also run the CTS-Vs in the Speed series.

I wonder if they've completely abandoned the Cadillac attempt at dethroneing the Audis at LeMans

I like the way Top Gear put it; on the track, you just can't explain the difference of $100k between the two (Ferrari and Z06). Different story on the road though.

Yeah, the Cadillac LMP project has been dead for years. Too bad, those were beautiful cars.

Way to go Audi!! Got to love that TDI - too bad we will never seen them soon here in the states. Oh, way to go Chevy for the Vette, great car for the bucks.

One Audi LMP TDI stomped all the rest this spring in Sebring, Florida at the 12-hour. I tell ya, the thing is spooky quiet. All you hear are the turbos and the wooshing wind!

Hmmm... I thought I heard on SpeedTV's Le Mans coverage That the R10 will be running some ALMS races later this season. Sure hope so!!

Yes, the R10 will contest the remainder of the ALMS. I think Android993 is referring to the technology on street cars.
