My S-Lites were stolen last fri night.. I know that the recovery is slim to never but I at least wanna ask for folks around the Rome GA area anywhere within 100 miles to keep a eye out for S-Lites with no center caps or a diff kinda center cap.. Either for sale or on a car other than a mini... If you see anything of the sort if you can get a tag number so the detective will have something to go on.. Please do not put yourself in any danger... Any help would be great.. Watch e-bay also...

I have a set I took off my car a few years ao if you need a set at a reasonable price......I'm not using them...they have been at R Speed for a couple of years and I think Joe would like them gone.

I had already got new wheels and had the S-Lites for sale when they were stolen... :(

They were stolen from my home... not my car...

 

Retards probably snatched them thinking they could put them on their hoopty... Then realized they're 4 lug, and threw them out. Sucks.

Sorry about this, what a bummer to say the least. I wonder if they knew they were for a MINI? Was your car visible? Some people just suck.

Also, hate to show my non-hipness, but what exactly is a "hoopty"? I know it refers to a car, and I'm guessing it is derogatory, but curious as to the origin and definition of the term.

Thats too funny... But yeah the car was sitting 20 feet from the wheels so they probly know what car they come off of... The funny part is by me living in a country town most people around here don't know what a mini is... My car has been called a MG more than once... And of course my favorite "What is that thang?"
