How do you remove a sunroof graphic?

My two month old solid white factory sunroof wrap decided to start come off on my way home from MOTD (it actually made a tearing sound while I was driving in the rain).

So I'm going to take it off because it looks like this...

So let the photoshopping begin to make something truly unique!

(razor blade) if needed.

And if needed apply a little heat from a blow dryer. Also, try and keep the part of the graphic you're pulling on as close to parallel to the part still on the roof. (does that make sense??) This should help you remove the adhesive portion with the vinyl portion. A little WD40 will help remove any left over adhesive and then I'd clay bar the area just to be sure its clean.

Based on my experience with a 3M clear bra, I'm forcasting some sore thumbs.

Use a heat gun that will help, then very carefully peel it, also a razor blade would help.

I actually did the same thing. I called the dealer and they said start at a corner, and heat it up with a hair dryer.

I would hope that the dealer would cover that repair if they installed it just 2 months ago. My dealer is charging me $280 for that, and I'll be quite pissed if it just peels up like that.

Actually - I'm sort of relieved it happened - it's kind of boring looking on top of my car and I can't look out the roof anymore.

Just go to your dealer and tell them to take it off.
