We are looking to bring our kids down, is anyone else bringing family. We are staying in the camp grounds too.

Bringing my 10 year old son with me.

 

Eleven year old son with us at Tapoco.

 

My wife and 12 year old son will be with me at Tapoco.

 

I think we are going to have the girls stay with someone here at home, doesn't seem to be much there for them and I don't want them in the camp grounds while we are at dinners and driving all day. I don't think shooting the dragon in the back seat would be a good thing. Thanks for everyone's response.

 

My kids stay home. Tapoco has no TV, no telephone and my kids are always wired into something. We went on a tame ride with them in the backseat and they informed me that that was their LAST fast ride with mommy. They are glad to stay with grandma and grandpa!

 

My son wont be left anywhere, he will be right beside me the whole time. Last event he went with me like this, he actually fell asleep in the harness as we ran the twisties. He had his hands tucked into the harness like suspenders and his little head was just bobbing from side to side with the car. Woke up afterwards and was ready for the next round!

 

With 3 girls and an estimated one way travel time of > 9hrs....probably not. The 14 yo could handle the trip and the stay, but the younger two...? The point is to enjoy myself, too. After hearing how far to Fontana, even my husband has bowed out! Good thing I have a girlfriend who is willing to make the run...
