The bill for the WCF is now dead, thank you for your support.

We lost the majority support today. I appreciate all the support that many of you have given to this effort, and hope that whatever standpoint you have, remember that the racers are the ones that suffer without a facility. Watch the news for specific coverage, as I'm sure it will be explained in better detail than I can give.

Regardless, I believe in the racer, and have since the beginning. We need a place to race...when the time comes to show your support, please do not hesitate, set aside your personal differences, and come together as one voice to bring racing back to Oahu.

I read the aricle in the Honolulu Advertiser this morning. I was a little confused about the call for help for yesterday's capitol gathering. I was under the impression that we had to be there before 8:30am and had to stay all day. I got a call from Tom B. around noon but couldn't make it out. We had an emergency and I had to be on-call yesterday (my daughter fell and got a hairline fracture in her wrist on Monday and I had to be ready to pick her up if the school called again) so I knew I couldn't make it in the morning nor could I stay out there. I feel like I let the efforts down yesterday but I did what I could.

Mike K. - thanks for putting in SO much time and effort. I will never forget what you did and went through my friend. Rest up now.

It's all good, there's always tomorrow...

--Nah man, you did as much as you could. Hope your daughter is okay though.

I think the splintered racing groups really confused the legislature. Also I think a certain group scared them like they scared me. But anyway...

Yeah Mike thanks for all your efforts! You and everyone that tried to work towards an awesome new racetrack for us are great examples of devoted leadership in our community. Thanks to all of you out there!

We will get a new racetrack together and it'll be better than ever. Our own Laguna Seca, or even better....a mini nurburgring!!!! One day we'll put it together. Just keep us posted and we'll roll out and help you set it up.

shoots.. that was the best part of my day.. after that I proceeded to cut my grass... has a lawnmower incident and had to go to the ER.... seriously... my big toe is mangled...

While cutting the grass, my foot slipped, going under the lawn mower. The rotating blade sliced thru my shoe, into my big toe, pulverizing some of the skin/meat and shattering the tip of the big toe bone. The doctor called it a Dirty Wound and cannot stitch it up. They are letting it heal back together naturally...

gross!!!

I was out of work all this last week. And can't drive my MCSm for at least another week... good thind the GF has a auto Mazda 3...

Damn Shawn sorry to hear about your toe. I'll be praying for a clean and quick recovery for you man.

Not to make fun about your accident but I'll have to show this to my wife as proof that yardwork is indeed DANGEROUS and I shouldn't be doing it so much.

Take care Shawn.

Ack - scary man! I had a blade fly off when I was younger. Never even knew it until my Dad walked over and pointed to the *ENTIRE* lawnmower blade sticking out of a railroad tie behind me on the ground.

I always wear my steel toe boots when I cut the grass now. May sound goofy, but I don't want to get chewed up.

Hope 'ya heal up ok!

Sorry to hear about your toe.... I suppose you can be thankful that its still there to heal up.

Be patient and do what the doctor says....

Oh yeah.... Welcome to the Bored and Healing club!
