To me, looks are the last thing I think about with tires. For performance, it's hard not to go for the PZeros, although a lot of people love their F1s.

Don't get me wrong, I love performance. Can't get enough!

But I still want it to look as good as it performs.

Tires are round & black, what's to look good about them? Performance is the true beauty of a tire. Just my .02 here & worth every you've paid for it.

No kidding. I always get a kick out of tire manufacturers' claims of "aggressive styling" and such. WTF, are you serious?

I'm a huge car enthusiast but I even begin to fathom why on earth someone would give a ***** about the tread design or sidewall appearance of a tire.

Of all the interesting styling cues on a car, and when you consider the absolutely profound effect of a tire on performance, the tire's appearance just seems so obviously mundane.

Idunno Longboard, maybe you could get some whitewalls or those really slick ones with teh red or blue ring running around them. You could leave really cool burnout marks.

Yeah, but what if tires came with ugly colored sidewall stripes? Then you would care about the looks because you would want to get rid of them.

F1's are top on the Mini...but also to consider are the Prada Spec2 from Yokohoma...nice tread design too. As for those F1's...the first time i tried them were with my bros GLI and they feel amazing and suprisingly amazing in the rain too...quick response...good luck

Please, you cant tell me that the look of a tire doesn't effect the overall look of the car.

It sets off the whole look. This is the second time I will say it, I do want performance for sure. Look back at the tires I'm deciding on. There all good. Some better then others.

I'm just saying that I also want it to look good. Some manufactures put so much Sh*^% on there side walls. take the Goodyear F1 GSD for example. It's a great tire. But the tread design is a little wild.

I have a Indian Chief (motorcycle) thats beautiful. It has big fat white wall tires. If it had black walls it would look

My $0.02, or whatever. Pirelli's PZeros flat spot. Easily. 2 sets, 2 different cars. No more Pirellis. Out.

Dude the fact that you even mentioned how a tire looks means you are a poser.

PERIOD.

i still think the F1's the best tire for the MCS.

for a street car like mine, looks are very important especially the treads.
honestly the S03's look better than any tire out there today in the US
for street. ok, slightly biased. hehe.

I'm sorry, but I can't even express how lame the entire concept is. It's like arguing about whether a 19% pulley looks cuter than a 15% pulley.

Gimme a break...

umm....sorry to burst your bubble but i think tires can look much MUCH better than others...

for instance I would NEVER put those pirelli's on my car....EVER!!!!

And you don't think tires can look good...show me a car where those pirellis look hot on something...then show me an STI with AZENIS....or potenza re070...

What your saying is like pirelli's on a jeep are the same as swampers on a jeep...

I can't even begin to comprehend your argument. However, I also would not entertain the notion of debating the best hairstyle for pear-shaped women with you.

I think what tires you run kinda shows the kinda person you are...

people with pirelli's...don't really know what they are doing but want to spend some money...

people that buy tires like i listed above have a purpose for them...they know what they are doing...

if you can show me a car with those pirellis with like 9 million tread blocks on it that is good looking...i'll shut up..

My r-comps... YOKO A048's...single treadblock design

I don't know why you are even posting in this thread...
1. It seems like you don't know sh*t about tires
2. You are in no way helping out the person who started the thread.
3. You are just being an ***.
4. Sell your MINI and go buy a honda... callin people posers cuz they like the look of one tire over the other...

I would assume that a smaller overall contact patch, more water evacuation area, and smaller tread blocks meant that someone prioritized all-weather performance over dry performance.

Interesting YOU list 2 different rim / tire combos ...
1 "street" & 1 "track"
I was wondering ... is this for performance & LOOKS ???

hope you not posing on the track or street.

Lets keep this nice
