R50/53 How much did you pay for the 17" S-lite tires?
I was wondering how much did some of you pay for your 17" S-lite rims/tires? (those that have them) I really dig them, however on MINIUSA they price them for the Cooper at $911.00 and $600.00 on the Cooper S.
Why the huge price difference? Is it now $600.00 for both of them since it's kinda difficult to go back and change a huge Flash site? However you look at it, they both are going to need different tire sizes.

I will be ordering an S with the spoert package in about 2 weeks and will be getting aftermarket wheels. My car should be here relatively early compared to others on the site from what my dealer said. (before July)
I was planning on pulling them off as soon as I get it home and would be willing to sell them with tires reasonably. If you can't wait that long check the classifieds or Ebay. I see them quite often.
Just on a side note--Do you think it would be easier to sell with performance or all season tires?

I'm not quite sure I understand your question... But check the Wheel-Tire forum for lots of info on what people think about the S-Lites and the runflat tires (performance or "all-season"
. The general consensus seems to be that the wheels are too heavy and the OEM tires are not particulary great.
I have the S-Lites on my MCS, and if I had to do it over, I would this time get 16" wheels. Lots lighter...and the tires (when you replace them with something superior to the runflats) are less expensive. Just my opinion.
