6" Minijack to Minijack cable

Does anyone know where I can get a 6" minijack to minijack cable? I have everything else for the perfect ipod install with aux input, but all I can find is a 6' cable and that is far too long!

Thanks

Like a earphone jack style cable?
Did you try Radio Shack? I have one you can have that I think is about 6".

I did try Radioshack and they had a 12" one that was grey. They told me the shortest black one they make is 6'.

But if you do have a 6" black one that you can part with, I would be happy to pay for it, just pm me.

Thanks,

Darryl

I bought a retractable Ziplinq cable for just such a use. I keep it in my glove box and it's perfect since it's adjustable from about 4" to 48". You can find more details, part numbers and a photo at the manufacturer's web site of http://www.ziplinq.com/retractable-cable-audio.html. I bought mine mail order for about $8 plus delivery.

I had the same problem with Radio Shack and found one at Fred Meyer, though I am not sure where you are or if you have that store, but try the electronic section of bigger stores like that or Target, it is a common cable.

I would just buy a cheap 3-foot, then cut and resolder to the length you want.
