Parrot voice quality

We have a 2004 Mini with regular Parrot ck3000 and ministuff harness.
One problem we have is people on the other side complain about voice quality and noise coming from the MINI.
Originally we placed the MIC in the top left corner of the windshield....it was very noisy when driving at 60-70mph, then I relocated it in between speedometer an tach, right in the middle there. It got better, but still not very good.
Any suggestions? Is there a better MIC I can get

Microphone Location

Here is where I installed my microphone. It is a Nokia kit, but it works great there. I traded sides with the sunroof button.

Same thing

I have a parrot 3300 in my Jeep and Mini, and the audio on the far end sucks from either car. I have tweaked the location of the mic in both vehicles, to no avail. I am going to rip them out. I don't even use them now. The unit simply picks up[ too much road noise. I even tried a better mic with built in sound reduction.
