XM direct/Blitzsafe Steering Wheel controls

I find that when I use my steering wheel controls to flip through the preset stations, that is goes crazy from time to time. It should go throught sr1 1-6, then sr2 1-6 then sr3 1-6 and back to sr1 1. Well sometimes mine just skips several presets or goes to channel 255 and says channel unavailable instead of going to the next preset. Does everyone else's do this from time to time or is it just mine.

Did you hold it down for any length of time? Or just press it quick. Just installed it in our MINI and did notice the channel 255 thing when scrolling down.

Is there anyway to get the song titles to scroll automatically?

I've found that if you don't hold the button long enough it won't change channel. I've also found if I hold it too long it jumps to 255. I'm getting used to it. All in all I love the XM in my MINI.

I still love having it integrated like this, It would be nice for them to work out those little quirks, but I am happy with it.

cra_fizzer, there is no way to make the artist or song scroll automatically. You have to press the INF button to see it, and even then it dissappears in 6 seconds.

For those of you that have the XM Direct and HK sound system....is there enough room to install the XM Direct and Blitzsafe in the passenger side boot compartment where the AMP is? Waiting for my kit to arrive...but it looks a little snug back there........

It's definitely snug back there, but I crammed it all in.

How and where did you run the antenna?

I stuck the "puck" right behind the MINI antenna on the roof and routed the wire around the boot hatch opening, then down the passenger side molding and into the h/k amp area.
