h/k stero questions

Hi,

I've read the manuals but still have a couple of questions:

1. What is "Driver" mode? Is that for driving solo? It seems to push the sound more towards me.

2. Is "h/k mini" an eq setting or just the default name of the stereo?

Thanks!

Paul

1. Exactly
2. Yes, it's a DSP setting.

From: A street address or space indexing system.
Driver mode directs the sound to the driver. The h/k setting is set for optimized h/k performance.

Yeah "Driver" mode just pushes the sound to be centered for the driver.

h/k mini is the standard eq setting.

Hmmm...so any other setting degrades performance? This unit has volume that changes with speed, right? Does it work with any setting?

Thanks!

Yes, it works on all settings, however it is very subtle with the HK, and it is not adjustable like it is with the base stereo.

BTW, just so you are aware, the head units are exactly the same regardless of the HK upgrade or not. HK gives you the amp w/DSP and speaker upgrade.
