I have an MCS with Nav system, I was fiddling with the computer on my drive home (don't have my nav cd yet) without having first read the manual. I was rolling at a really slow speed, and I activated the Speed feature at 2mph. Which I later read that the computer beeps if i exceed that speed. Easy to fix right, just undo it.

But suddenly my nav screen is blank ... I pressed the Menu and the middle button, but can't get it to turn on, even turned the car on and off hoping it would reset ..

any idea? I read the nav manual and nowhere do i see anything to do with this.

forgot to say, that the computer starts beeping whenever the car moves, but the screen stays blank!

looks like I'm talking to myself in this thread Anyhow, left the car for about 20 mins, went back downstairs, and turned it on, everything was fine!
God, I love this car!

Was the car cold when the nav sys started acting up? Unless it is above 35F mine will not come on untill the car is driven and then shut down for at least a couple of minutes then restarted. I am waiting for my dealer to get new software that is said to solve this problem. I hope yours was just a one time glitch.
