MINI Ordered!

Hello everybody,

After 4 long years of waiting and pining I finally ordered my MINI. It still doesn?t feel real but anyway, here?s my spec:

MCSC, cool blue with blue top and black bonnet stripes
Dark gray leatherette interior
Body colored dash with chrome line interior
Sport package
Cold weather package
Rear fog
Limited slip differential

I just want to thank everybody who replied to my many posts and gave me the information I needed to make my decision.

Thanks Again,
Erik

Congrats! Be sure to post some pictures once it comes in!

Looks like you're trying to avoid the "every option on the list" spec, but I'd still add in the cruise control/MFSW if I were you. The cruise should be good for resale and it's handy for long trips on uninspiring roads. The MFSW is an often-underrated safety feature, since it lets you fiddle with the stereo while keeping your eyes on the road.

Looks like it's spec out great!!! No for the miserable part.... the wait! But don't worry... its worth it. And when you do get the car, winter will be over and you can take advantage of the convertible!

Thanks everybody!

I know I wouldn't get this kind of reaction/support if I bought a Corolla! I really REALLY can't wait now. Ok I'm off to check where my MINI is on the Owner's Lounge (I wonder how often you can check before they kick you off for bandwith abuse!)

Thanks for the reply.
I specced it out to the last dollar in my budget. To be honest, I never listen to the radio and I can't stand cruise control (creeps me out when the car accelerares on its own.) I know it would hurt the resale value but hopefully it wouldn't go down that much. Anyway I plan on keeping it forever, there will never be another first generation MINI!

Thanks again,
Erik
