Sunroof Decal

I'm thinking about a custom sunroof decal, but I don't want to loose visibility through my sunroof. The pics on Cooperflags website make it seem practically invisible, but then they're photos on a website and I wanted some personal feedback from people who have them...

I thus await the collective wisdom of NAM

Hey Toast,
I have seen a few cars with a CooperFlags decal on the sunroof, while they are nice, the vinyl they use has a bunch of little holes in it. I think they call it perforated. The holes are about the diameter of a pencil lead, give or take. IMO, I think they take away from the image.

I had one on my MINI and just imagine driving around all the time with the roller shades closed. No huge difference at all.

Getting mine put on at AMVIV. Perforated so I can still see out.

I have a perforated Welsh flag on my Cooper's sunroof. I wanted it in order to cut down on the God-awful glare that comes in just when you don't want it to and FORCES you to buy yet another MINI hat! Well, I STILL have my MINI hats and proudly wear them, but I can honestly say that the days of trying to evade the sun's glare are gone. The perforated decal REALLY works well and does not make the interior of the car too dark, either. I'll make it a point to ALWAYS have one in any MINI or other car I purchase from now on.

Twister is correct, only it would be like putting the shade on the outside of the glass and it really does cut down on the sun and heat. Due to the 1/16 of an inch holes, the image does not appear as vibrant as it is on the solid vinyl. The black of the glass shows through and changes the color slightly. The problem with the graphic on the rear window of Lurch 70 is most likely that the printer did not use the over laminate, which keeps the dirt and water out of the holes so you can see through it, even in the rain.

Toast, if your thinking of getting one for Ollie, and have any questions, just ask. info@cooperflags.com

they did actually, but it looked too shiny and reflective so we peeled it off
