m7 headrests add HP!

I knew that title would get your attention!

No really, in order to pay proper homage to all the great things Peter does (if anyone wants to flame you better be able to show up at my doorstep to back it up) I have added this little touch to my MINI making it almost complete (just need a few more mods, my list is a little outdated- no time for the site).

For those not sure, these are custom embroidered into the headrest.

If you go to the dragon this year you can witness my m7'ness and all its glory!

oh and feel free to get this into the post instead of an attachment since I am still too lazy to figure out how to do it!

later

chris

Chris, how the heck did you get the headrests embroidered? Will you be taking orders at The Dragon?

I think we need to boycot CustomAV from attending the MOTD 2006.
He won everything last year. Here's my vote!

Can't wait to see you Chris! Those look great!

It is a secret! No really, it's not that hard but I thought about offering it to people if they want.

The biggest problem is the design setup for the machine. That is where you pay the money.

If people are interested let me know and I can price it for you.

A friend of mine has custom embroidered head rests too. He is "weegas" on this site. Check 'em out...

Partsman, that's just what I'd like to add to my car; is this in Weegas's car? Any idea on how/where he got this done?

ITS SIMPLE GUYS!

TAKE YOUR HEAD RESTS OUT... take them to an upholstery shop... and they will embroider them... or if you are really talanted... take the headrest apart yourself and just bring the cover(material) to ANY embrodery shop... perhaps call ahead and see if you could bring an image on a disk...

its not rocket science... its embrodiery on a headrest...

they do look good though

The big issue, as has been said, is the programming/mocking up of the logo. That's where a good design is made. The idea is simple and self-evident, but it's really not simple to execute...

all you have to do is give the company the image... they will either scan it or if you give it to them in a .jpg format that should... should get you done... at least that is always what i have done in the past! Comes out flawlessly and never have had an issue! Ive probalby emrodiered 8 differnt logos... on 80 different things... with 3 different companies...

Is their a problem getting the image?

When I swing by I could also drop off the forms for you to be an advertiser on NAM which will make everyone happy when you try to sell a product here.

He is offering it as a service , not as a profit making venture. If he wants to do it as a profit we can offer it under our name and work out a deal with him that I know he would be happy with. Problem solved
