cooper s rear spolier

Any advantages to switch from the cooper spoiler to the s spoiler? Any advanteges to remove the spoiler completly?

The only "advantage" would be if you like the look better.

The spoilers don't really do much in terms of downforce or even keeping the rear window clean.

Remove the spoiler completely?
There will be holes to deal with.
IMO, the "s" spoiler looks better. YMMV.

There are two bolts to undo which you access from the underside of the hatch. he spolier is also secured on with some VERY strong double sided tape. Take some fishing line or dental floss and use it in a sawing motion to cut between the spoiler base and the roof of the car. You can find some trim buttons at a Kragen or other chain auto parts store to silicone in place where the two holes are.

Or you could remove the spoiler and fill and paint the holes. ELO has been despoiled...

I have a black "S" spoiler for sale $200. Replaced it with a Cooper
spoiler, as the smaller one was more appealing to me; buit some
