I'm thinking the Rota Slipstreams with 15x7 or 16x7 are a great cheap alternative to SSR Comps. Look here at this site, $470/510 shipped! http://www.18racing.com/wheel_slipstream.html Thats one heckuva deal! I hear they are in the 13lbs range on 16's and probably 11 or so on 15's!

Look at these at Edge Racing, 15x7 Falken Hanabi at 11 lbs
http://www.edgeracing.com/2003/Mini/...ll)/wheel/957/

They also were running a sale on the RT-615 205/50/15 for $78. I took advantage of free mount and balance. Total shipped to my office wheels and tires mounted was $771.00. Very quick service and threw in a Falken hat also.

Not too bad. My Rota's are $510 plus $364 wrapped in Hankook Z212's for a total of $874 plus mounting. How much do the wheels from Edge weigh?

The 15x7 Falken Hanabi's are listed at 11 lbs at $95 ea. I just got Enkei RP02's which come in at 12.5 lbs. The Enkei's were originally $190 on sale for $95. Nice wheels but not as light as the Falken wheels. Deals abound.

Craig, Are you going to run STX at the Peru NT in May? I may run also. It will be my first NT event. Wish I had a JCW though! I sure could use the extra ponies against the Subies.....

Yes, I'll be running STX or possibly DSP. It all depends on how the season is going in each class. The ideal season for me would be running 3 GS Pro's, 3 STX Pros and 3 DSP Pros and then decide what to run for the Finale depending on my points status.

I've been running the Flik Blast-c wheels from EdgeRacing. They're
15x6.5, weigh in at 11.9 lbs, and are $89 each.

Koshi K1's. I am using 17", but I know that many people prefer to use 16". I am currently in a local street tire class that allows me to keep the car GS legal, but also avoids the bother of changing to racing tires at every event. I may do enough to end up in STX, but still wonder if I want to start down the well oiled slope of adding mods to an already fun and quick little car. The devil has really been after me to do some suspension mods, but the white angel of leaving the car alone still talks to me in the dead hours of night.
cheers,
Joe

I'm using the Konig "Heliums" in 15 X 6.5". About 10.8 lbs and $100 each.
