Any One Else Had Problem with Horns Not Working?
After over 28,000 miles of mostly trouble-free, and VERY Happy Motoring in my '04 MCS with JCW upgrades, suddenly my horns don't honk. Checked the fuse; it's fine. For me it's a day's trip to visit my dealer, wait for service/repairs, and return.
Anyone got any ideas of what else I might check to find out why the horns don't work when I push the horn button?
Thanks !

can you hear a click when you hit the horn button?
if so, your relay is working...meaning, the problem could be further
down to the actual horns.
how about you pop the bonnet and check to see if the harness is
properly attached to the horns? if yes, you can pull a horn from another
car and see if that works, or you can even tie an automotive 12v
bulb to the harness and ground and see if it would light up when
you hit the horn button.
if either the alternative horn or light bulb
trick work, you just need to replace the horn.
there's other cool aftermarket horns available at your local autoparts
store so might want to check those out too.

One of mine stopped working. The single remaining horn made the car sound like a moped. Meep. It was embarrassing, so I replaced them with the Wolo "big rig long horn" air horn. Sometimes breakdowns just mean its time for upgrades.
Maybe that part of your MINI is jealous and wants a JCW horn!!
(seriously...hope it gets sorted.)
