Hi:

Just bought a 2002 MCS yesterday. When I open the doors, the interior light does not come on. I tried swithing the interior light switches different ways, but I can't seem to figure out how to make them come on when the door opens. Also, shouldn't the lights turn on when I unlock the car with the key button? It has no manual, but I downloaded the manual off of the MINI site, but I still can't seem to find an answer. Could anyone please help.

Try pushing the light switch on the roof light and holding it in for 10 seconds (I think; may be longer). This is one of the few user-controllable options on the car.

Pressing and holding both buttons on the clock will switch it from 12 to 24 (or vice-versa) hour format.
