R50/53 MINIs in Google Earth
MINIs in Google Earth
I did some sleuthing and found the NEAT VPC in NJ on Google Earth:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<kml xmlns="http://earth.google.com/kml/2.0">
<Placemark>
<name>NEAT Auto Center, NJ</name>
<LookAt>
<longitude>-74.0691928055855</longitude>
<latitude>40.6690800212125</latitude>
<range>439.8573081852477</range>
<tilt>-1.569278315689486e-010</tilt>
<heading>0.05261434500513536</heading>
</LookAt>
<styleUrl>root://styleMaps#default+nicon=0x307+hicon=0x317</styleUrl>
<Point>
<coordinates>-74.06917118595331,40.66944037159752,0</coordinates>
</Point>
</Placemark>
</kml>
Big batch on MINIs on the southeast side, near the water. It's a little blurry, but you can find the bonnet stripes pretty easily.
Any other MINI sightings from the sky? I couldn't find the Port Hueneme VPC from the air...

Well, I can't be sure but if you look at 51 degrees, 43 minutes, 56.71 seconds north and 1 degree, 11 minutes, 8.65 seconds west, I am pretty sure you will see MINIs being loaded at the rail siding of the plant in Oxford, England....

I did find the multi-level garage that is in the photo above.

Enter this location for the unloading port: 34 9' N, 119 12' 15" W
There are two icons, "cars arrive on ships like this" and "get parked here".
Enter this location for the VPC: 34 9' N, 119 10' 7" W
Two icons, "are driven individually to this lot", and "go on car carriers here".
I don't see a multi-level garage at Port Hueneme. By the way, regular BMWs also arrive at Port Hueneme. You can distinguish MINIs mostly because they are hatchback (no trunk visible).
