New Motorer here

Got my '06 astro black Cooper today. Cold weather package, Sport package, Premium package, Sport Suspension Plus, xenon, rear fog, dead pedal, cockpit chrono, armrest, anthracite interior,5-spokes with run-flats.

Wonderful car. They put the S kickplates on it, so it's a bit unique (I'd rather their mistake had been to put the S engine in it with Cooper nameplates

I've not driven an S, I probably shouldn't, because I wanted to keep the price down. Can't wait for breakin to be over so I can see what this 5speed will do.

My other car is a '83 911SC that I want to keep at 8k or less miles per year, I'm going to love driving this Cooper and definitely it'll see autocross cones.

What's my first mod folks ?

Under-steering-wheel Euro storage tray ?
Replace the amber side markers with white ?

What's the best bang for my buck ?

Thanks!

Congrats and welcome to NAM! I imagine there are a number of fun, twisty roads in your neck of the woods.

never have made it there. I spent a lot of time in other cars running around VIR and Road Atlanta and Roebling. Neither the SC nor Cooper will see the track, just some autocrosses and a trip to the Dragon in both is definitely in order come spring.

For you autocross get some Faulken Azenis Rubber. Have Fun. Maybe I'll see you at VIR for the Zone 2 DE. Keep the shiny side up.

First mod ??? Bluetooth. Once you go Bluetooth you will never go back to using a regular cell phone in the car again
