Is there any way to lower driveline hp loss, that turns a 250chp car to one that only has 215whp?

I only know of 2 ways. (1) blueprint the entire drive-train and (2) use full synthetic fluids in the tranny-- unless it already uses syth?

you take it to a machine shop and they will weigh and balence every little piece to make sure it is perfect. EX. all the rods are identical and the crank is the same across the board etc.

Add, change out the transmission gears for straight cut ones.
Have everything that moves polished or coated to reduce friction.

Balanced and Blueprinted engines go way way back. Common practice. Never heard it though on a MINI engine.

This is not just the head work like Pilo or Webbs. This is they whole thing. Big bucks. I wonder why you never hear of it for MINIs

Not enough people have had a reason to tear into their cars. But if you do something like blow up your engine then you might as well

I know Peter at M7 is in the process of accomplishing this. I am sure there are others. Hell, some of the most hardcore MINI owners I know aren't on here. So...I'm sure it's been done.

It would seem to me that I've always heard of balanced and blueprinted engines with the muscle cars ... just never a MINI. Maybe someone like Spyder looking for power should jump in
