The Phoenix ST race was so good that its getting rebroadcast on Monday as well.
I can assure you the MINI's get a lot of tv time so you don't want to miss this one.

Just turned it on and it onlt started about 30 min ago - guess I missed it. It airs for 2 hours so I'm sticking with it.

Well, maybe not .... But he gets an interview on Speed ...

 

Tony just did somewhat of a roll - WOW. Any other car would have just flipped right over, but the MCS stayed on two wheels until gravity took over and rolled it.

Bad break Tony - I'm still a total fan.

 

I hope someone gets a vedeo clip of that.

Tony seemed to be running quite strong. Well, that's racing.

He caught an edge, off track ..... then caught the edge coming back on, maybe broke something in the steering-front end,,, and flipped

I think he may have looked in his rear-view mirror? --It was a tight race, good action

My daughter was watching Disney channel and I asked her if I could quickly check the SPEED Channel. Then I got distracted for a while and my six-year old shouts: "Papa! A MINI just rolled over !" So, I quickly make it back to the TV and catch the replay. Wow!

Vanina Ickx's Mini. She was not quite as lucky though see was fine and walked away.

 

Was this in a race or just a track day somewhere?

 

Was a series over in Europe. Kind of like our GT-1 trans-am racing it seems.

 

Finally I have got around to watching the Phoenix race. I had it taped but haven't had time to watch it.

I think the one thing Grand Am Racing needs is more Mini's. I noticed that the Turner motorsports guy where working together to block other cars. If there was like 10 Mini's on the track then it would be on!!! We could just be out there to block for Nuzzo.

So Tony how about signing up all the Mini's in this forum. :smile:
