Anyone else having this problem? Just the corner is peeling off at this point but I can only imagine how it will be in a couple of months. Is anyone trying to take it off? Thanks!!

Just superglue it back down...or if you are a total freak, like me, you can spray some 3M Super77 (REALLY sticky adhesive spray) into a plastic cup and use a small paintbrush to apply it to the back of the part peeling up.

I've not heard of anyone having this problem. Do you live in a warm climate so that it cooks in the sun? Or do you fumble for the seatbelt anchor so it gets lots of "attention"? Either could explain what is happening.

It's just trying to make itself available for sticking on your sunroof visor to stop the rattling (since this now seems to be the MINI-authorized repair for the sunroof).

But no, my velcro is still stuck on tight. I think all it does is keep the latch end from rattling against the seat. Put a little glue on the velcro to stick it back down and you're all set. Or peel it off the rest of the way and let your seat belt latch chime in the general conversation.

Thanks guys!! I'll just stick it back down. I think I may go the 3M route. Luckily I haven't had the sunroof rattle YET. I don't want the seatbelt to start the conversation, that's for sure. If one starts talking I may not get any of the others to shut up!! Thanks!

It is said that the two best products in the world are Duct Tape and WD-40. If if sticks and should slip, use WD-40. If it slips and should stick, use duct tape. I'd like to add a third item to that list -- adhesive backed Velcro.

Go to any store that sells Velcro (here the most convenient source is a yard-goods store name JoAnne's). You will find Black, adhesive backed Velcro in several widths. One half looks like carpet and is an excellent "shock absorber" which would solve your seat belt silencer problem. [You can also find 1" squares of Velcro at any Radio Shack.]

I also used 1"x3" Black velcro strips to stop the sunroof/air deflector rattle problem.
