2006 Antenna
Just say a photo of a 2006 MCS SB/S and saw that it had one of those funky shark fin type antenna's. Does anytone know if Mini went away from the standard mini antenna to the Shark Fin ?

that is correct
my bmw radio antenna is in the auto glass. the shark fin is for a car with satellite radio prep ($75) or actual satellite radio ($400plus

Shark Fin Antenna
When I bought my new Mini a year ago the only Minis coming with that antennas were the one equipped with the navigation system. The radio antenna is actually located in the right rear window glass on these models.
