Remus rattles at idle, need help!!!
Just installed my remus today. One word, WOW!!!! However, I am experiencing some rattle at idle, this happens rarely but quite enough to make me concern. The exhaust seems to be louder at idle than when the car is running. Is this normal, help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Here are some pics.
The tip on the left is lower and is fixed

I have to ask if your sure its not rubbing anywhere. I put in my Magnaflow and it took me 3 times under my car to get rid of all the rubbing that was causing extra rumble and vibrations.
Thanks mdsbrain, I just took a small clip of the rattle and the beautiful sound of Remus.

FYI: My system is not quite as loud in real life. This was taken in a small garage and made out of wood.

The rattle in the beginning of the vid sounds like a peice of pipe is rubbing on the heat sheilding. That metallic aluminum foil looking stuff under the car. I'd check that first. When the car is cool reach around the pipes and see if it has the chance to rub. If it does just push the foil stuff a bit out of the way.
I'm just going by my experience with my Magnaflow and my problem. Anyone else have a suggestion

I went back to my installer and had him to take a look. The left exhaust hook was rubbing against the hanger metal piece. So he cut the metal piece a bit and everything is working great now.

Glad you solved the problem, but something else for others who might be experiencing something similar--check the nuts that hold the Remus near the hangers. I had my car serviced---replacement tranny/clutch under warranty. A few days later, my Remus was rattling on idle. The next day a friend came to visit, and found a nut on my driveway. That looked really familiar--I got underneath the car and found that the side that's a really pain to get your hands in--both nuts were loose--well one was missing--the one that was on my driveway.
The other side which is easily accessible were all locked down tight, so my guess is the dealer hand tightened them, and forgot to finish it off, or was just too lazy.

I would like to add in some information for others that have the same problem as I do with an aftermarket exhaust. To check for rattles, my installer hit on the tip of the exhaust (upward) with his palm with some force to see where the potential rubs are.
