Antenna connection a "Standard" one?

I want to install a 12 disc trunk mounted CD player that I have and it uses an FM modulator that connects to the back of a car radio through the antenna jack. Normally, I would pull the car antenna from the radio, plug it into the little box that cam with the CD player, then plug the CD player box back into the radio of the car. I've had this in two previous cars and it's worked fine.

I've read conflicting reports about the antenna conneciton on the back of the head unit in Minis.

Is it standard, or a Mini/BMW special shape/diameter/whatever?
If so, can I get adaptors anywhere?

If it matters, I have a 2004 MCS with the Harmon Kardon and Sirius unit.

Thanks for any help.

i believe the mini's use a unusual antenna hook up, like its integrated into the main plug.

FYI, the HK and standard HU's are all the same.
