New forged wheel for the MINI
Who would be interested in this forged wheel if it was made available for the Mini?

No doubt they're very nice, but I suspect the price is inflated substantially for two big reasons: 1) good old-fashioned profit, and 2) marketing. If you just bought a shiny new Lotus Elise and you still hav money to spend on wheels, you don't want anything less than the best wheels. And to get the best, you gotta pay.

Holy Guacamole Batman!!!!
--That's HALF of a JCW upgrade!!!!! I think I'd rather spend the money on brakes, suspension or intercooler upgrades.

A side view:
I like them alot.
Please tell me that $2,850.00 is for 4 wheels rather than one

They are alright - gotta get some bigger brakes all around with such an open design though IMHO.

5 - 10 interested buyers and they make them. Specs (size, width and diameter as well as offset) will be determined by the wishes of the buyers. Price would be less than 4k per set, more people, the lower the price.
Here they are on a M3 ...

Perfect, the MCS needs more braking power anyway

I think I'd just get the fully forged BBS RG-F wheels. 16x7 only weighs 12.8 pounds and cost just over $400 each.
