Great googly moogly!

Makes my SSRs seem like Pep Boys weekend specials!

They're nice. But not THAT nice!

I'm not sayin' nuttin', I'm a consumer looking for high quality forged wheel alternatives for the MCS. I contacted RAC Monolites to inquire if they would be willing to manufacture the RS110 for the MCS and they expressed interest, but added they would need 5-10 buyers to make manufacturing the wheels cost effective. You'd need to direct your question regarding BBS to RAC Monolites ( sales@racmonolites.com or technical@racmonolites.com).

IMHO, forged BBS wheels (RGR or RV-F) would be a more fair comparison and they even run approx. $2288 from Tirerack.

They're nice, but not that nice. If they dropped the price a thousand bucks (not gonna happen) count me in. The Weds alloys (available from Tire Rack) look similar, although not the same, and are much much cheaper than these wheels.

OK, I just reread my e-mails with RAC Monolites and I think our price would be closer to $3000 ... probably even less for 17". It all depends on how many people are interested.

I'd only pay that much if i was the only Mini running those wheels(bragging rights).
there are a lot of high quality forged wheels available for Mini if you don't mind getting Japanese wheels..

I like those wheels, but ~3K is a bit too expensive. In fact, it looks similar to wedsports TC-005, that I have been looking. At tirerack, now they carry wedsports (Here), they sell TC-005 for $415 ea. for 17", 14.1lb.

Are the Wedsport TC-005's forged? I looked at them before too, but could never find anywhere that spec'd their construction. Most forged wheels, including BBS, have the word "forged" stamped on them too and I haven't been able to see that in any of the Wedsport TC-005 pictures either. I just want to make sure we're comparing apples to apples.

IMHO, the similarity in looks between the two wheels is the number of spokes. The Wedsports also only appear to be available in white or light grey and I'm not to keen on the lettering painted on them. Of course I'm sure you could have them refinished for less than $1k. I think I would rather pay a little bit more for the cleaner, flowing lines of the RAC Monolites though.

The Weds wheels are also forged. I found the info here: www.wheelweights.net You can see that there are a few commonly available wheels that are as light or lighter than the RAC wheels. The RACs are SO nice looking though.

Obviously I agree

I just wish we could find 5 people that agree and are willing to commit so we could get them manufactured.

UR' sig. looks awfully lonely up there by its self

hey man did'nt U say that the more people sign up the better its price on these wheels willb' so then ur list is really short 1-5 why not 1-7 or 1-10?

J/K, how much exactly will they run if five d0oD's put an order???
next, U also said they can make these in any offset/back spacin' is it posible to get them as close to this cars wheel arches as allowed so wheels in the rear sit right on th edge of arches/fenders to get that full muscle look under ur fenders. and off course the wheels up front will sit just a little past fender edge mayb' by a quarter inch. thats ok w/me basically i whant them to be mayb' 8.5x18's all around.....

Sorry for the slow reply, but I've been in the middle of moving and still don't have Internet access at home yet ...

Price would be probably be less than $3000, but I haven't asked for a firm price yet since it would depend on wheel size etc. and there doesn't seem to be enough interest out there anyway.
