How Smart is Your Right Foot

I was told this condition exists with all Mini owners:

1. While sitting at your computer lift your right leg off the ground and rotate it clockwise.

2. At the same time with your right hand in the air, draw the number six.

Amazingly your right foot automatically starts turning counterclockwise

Now I bet, not only are you suprised as heck, but that you were expecting to learn something new about how to drive your Mini and a bit disappointed

Lesson Learend: Don't do this while driving your car

And yes that is correct, I have nothing else better to do today

Even though I have other things to do I chose to spend a few moments experimenting with this.....

Now I need to know what it means if my foot DOESN'T turn?

Am I defective?

Maybe it is because I am between MINIs, not technically a "current" owner - my new one is waiting to get on a boat.

Thanks for the diversion anyhow.

I hope all this is not a misguided attempt to teach people heel-and-toe motoring..........

this pissed me off.

I kept my leg in clockwise motion while doing the 6... until i read the sentence that says the leg will move the opposite direction... then it actually did it! Why'd you have to ruin my trick

If you just rotate your foot it won't move, you have to make circles with it.

When I rotate my right foot clockwise and draw a '6' with my right hand, my foot begins to move erratically from left to right. Do I need to have my ECU updated?

Oooooooooh! OK. I see now.

Apparently it is only my reading comprehension that is defective!

Although I too get the slightly erratic motions at first - unless I continue to do both and then I get counterclockwise cirlces with my foot.

Now I'm just ROFLMAO at myself!!!!

Ok, so can he actually keep rotating his foot in the clockwise direction? Don't keep us in suspense!

This is too funny! Even a well coordinated ex-gymnast with knowledge of neurological functioning and motor control can't make the foot keep going clockwise.

I even tried drawing my six in from the middle on up to the top of the number (to go clockwise) and my foot still switched directions...

Try doing it by just imagining drawing the six with your finger. Funny what Motor memory will do to you as well!

OK.. I do have stuff to do, I'm just in denial about it all. I don't think this exercise will help my racing one bit
