Leaky Antenna. Please Help!

I don't normally drive in the rain, but the other day it happend. I discovered my antenna has a leak. Water was leaking into the back seat. My antenna appears to be loose on the front side. Any ideas on how to tighten the thing myself? It's about a three hour trip to the dealer and it's not my daily driver- so there is no rush. Any help... Thanks in advance!

Do you have a sunroof? If so, there is a cap in the headliner just behind the sunroof that houses the motion sensor for the optional OEM alarm. Pull it off and you'll be able to see the nut for the antenna. It takes a 22mm socket but access is pretty tight. You probably could manage with an open end wrench.

If you don't have a sunroof then the only option is to drop the headliner.

The nut is located toward the rear of the antenna base making it easy for the front side to swivel if it's not tight enough.

I do have a sunroof. I looked under that cap and that nut didn't look like what I needed to tighten. I'll look again and thanks for the help!
